Fossil Day Public Talk National Fossil Day 2023 at the Harvard Museum of Natural History. I gave a public talk discussing how scientists digitize fossils and study them using modern animation software, incorporating elements from my dissertation research. At this event, I also joined a group of researchers from our lab showcasing a table of Hidden Treasures from the Vertebrate Paleontology collections to the public (below). Fossil Day Table I enjoy being involved with museum outreach events and have participated in others such as the I <3 Science day. Below is a 3D model of Dimetrodon milleri, a specimen on display at the Harvard Museum of Natural History, that I created using photogrammetry and animated in Blender for the museum's YouTube page.
